Renton graduated, summa cum laude, from St. John’s University and received a Juris Doctorate Degree from St. John’s University School of Law as a Dean’s List Graduate. He was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York in 2011 and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in 2012.
While in law school, Renton was a William J. Fitzpatrick Scholar and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Prior to joining CG&P, Renton gained experience practicing in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, general litigation, civil rights litigation, criminal law, appellate practice, trusts and estates, and real estate.
Renton practices in the areas of construction liability, premises liability, labor law, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, and church and charitable institution liability. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
